Vendors needed for annual French Heritage Festival & Soiree
WOONSOCKET — The Northern Rhode Island Council of the Arts seeks vendors for its 35th annual French Heritage Festival & Soiree to be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, at River Island Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Local farmers will be selling their fresh produce and traditional French meat pie and dynamites along with other specialties will be on the menu. Live music will be provided by Les Joyeux Copains and from Canada "Le Vent des Cantons" plus entertainment and dancing.
Admission is free for this event, with special guest appearances and activities for the children. The Soiree will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish Hall following the festival.
