NATALIE’S THREE TIPS FOR SELF- CARE AND LONGLASTING HEALTH

Working Mother - - Works Forus -

1 WORK UP A SWEAT

“My favorite form of fitness is high-intensity workouts,” Natalie says. “When it comes to preventing disease, the higher the intensity and the less time spent working out is what’s best for the brain. That’s great for all of us who are always multitasking.”

2 SPICE IT UP

“There is so much scientific research that points to fueling our bodies with certain spices that are antioxidants. My husband takes daily turmeric doses because there were studies in India that show turmeric is actually a great, preventative spice. I cook with it a lot more.”

3 AVOID GETTING TOO COMFORTABLE

“One thing I am trying to impress upon my kids is to learn other languages—not just because you need to communicate with people around the world, but also, as you get older, learning something new is good for your brain.”

Natalie is a longtime fan of endurance sports too.
