Ypar­ent Ac­tive In­ter­est Me­dia and its sis­ter company, Show Man­age­ment, once again hosted a lux­u­ri­ous owner’s lounge and VIP Pavil­ion at the Fort Laud­erdale In­ter­na­tional Boat Show. The sprawl­ing invitation-only venue oc­cu­pied space in the In­ter­na­tional Swimming Hall of Fame in the heart of the in-wa­ter por­tion of the show, which ran from Oc­to­ber 30 through Novem­ber 3. It fea­tured food, re­fresh­ments, en­ter­tain­ment and that most-im­por­tant boat show amenity: a place to rest weary legs. Pavil­ion spon­sors in­cluded Sim­rad, Porsche, Belize Beach Re­sort and Spa, Peter Glenn Ski & Sport, Tel­luride, Mag­el­lan Jets, Boat Show Ho­tels, Chafe Pro, Abaco Beach Re­sort and Bang & Olufsen. AIG and Con­cord Marine hosted cap­tains’ break­fasts at the fa­cil­ity. Ac­tive In­ter­est Me­dia’s Marine Group com­prises Yachts In­ter­na­tional, Power & Mo­to­ry­acht, Sound­ings and Sound­ings Trade Only, Sail, Pas­sage­Maker, An­gler’s Jour­nal and Show Man­age­ment pro­duces the boat show for the Marine In­dus­try As­so­ci­a­tion of South Florida.
