Caught in the rain
When the raindrops began falling Friday morning, the parking lots of local auto parts stores got busy with people rushing to change their windshield wiper blades. At right, Trofilo Cruz works to get the wiper blades swapped out on his truck while in the parking lot at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 2404 W. 8th St. According to the National Weather Service, there is still a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today in Yuma, with a 30 percent chance tonight, and a 10 percent chance on Sunday. Sunny skies are forecast for Monday, along with windy conditions.
