When the rain­drops be­gan fall­ing Fri­day morn­ing, the park­ing lots of lo­cal auto parts stores got busy with peo­ple rush­ing to change their wind­shield wiper blades. At right, Tro­filo Cruz works to get the wiper blades swapped out on his truck while in the park­ing lot at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 2404 W. 8th St. Ac­cord­ing to the Na­tional Weather Ser­vice, there is still a 50 per­cent chance of show­ers and thun­der­storms to­day in Yuma, with a 30 per­cent chance tonight, and a 10 per­cent chance on Sun­day. Sunny skies are forecast for Mon­day, along with windy con­di­tions.
