In Uzbekistan I did not pay attention to my "mark," and in the Netherlands many people recommended to visit a doctor. The birthmark turned into melanoma. There was a long waiting period for surgery that would establish the tumor stage and chances for survival. It was one of the most horrific periods in my life, but all was ok, and I 'm grateful for fate. I used to be shy and afraid to show my scar: everyone was interested where it came from. Now I'm not shy, I let it go. I wear clothes with a long sleeve.

But it is rather to avoid insolation, because now I understand the danger of tanning.

My scars are the signs that I can overcome a lot.

After recovery I understood and revised a lot, and first of all, my attitude to life.

I take nothing else for "granted" and "guaranteed."
