Talks with British Diplomat
Simon MacDonald, Permanent Secretary of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, has visited Uzbekistan this week.
At the meeting with the leadership of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan, the sides exchanged views on the promising areas for the development of bilateral cooperation. The British diplomat noted that the extensive reforms being undertaken in Uzbekistan are opening new opportunities for enhancing the interaction between the two nations in all spheres of shared interest.
The talks provided for a fair ground to discuss practical aspects of the upcoming visit by a government delegation of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom.
