The 12th international exhibition of power equipment and electrical devices, UzEnergyExpo-2017, has taken place in Tashkent along with the 7th international exhibition of heating and ventilation, water supply, furniture and design, UzStroyExpo-2017.

In the work of exhibitions, the more than 60 companies from Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine participated in the event alongside Uzbek manufacturers.

Energy and construction industry are one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan. Effective measures are being taken in our country to modernize them, new opportunities and benefits are offered to local producers focused on the production of import-substituting construction and energy equipment and components.

At UzEnergyExpo-2017, low- and highvoltage equipment, cables, insulators, transformers, wiring devices, illuminators, light measuring equipment, protective equipment, monitoring and maintenance systems were presented. A number of exhibition stands were devoted to renewable energy sources. On one of them were presented solar water heating systems produced at the joint Uzbek-Chinese company Quyosh Issiqlik Energiyasi in the FEZ Jizzakh.

«In the production of our solar installations, we use advanced technologies that allow us to generate heat not only in the sunny weather, but also in cloudy weather,» noted the commercial director of the enterprise Alexey Ten. “The production capacity of our plant provides for the production of up to 800 solar collectors per month, each of which undergoes strict quality control. At present, we take part in the implementation of most of the projects of Uzbekenergo JSC related to the use of renewable energy sources.”

At the stands of the construction exhibition UzStroyExpo-2017, domestic and foreign companies offered special lined construction equipment, heating equipment, scaffolding, reinforced concrete products, paving stones, metal structures, pipelines and other products. The scope of creative work is growing in the republic, the demand for modern building materials, including domestic ones, is growing, and the exhibition has demonstrated the expansion of their production.

In our country there are more than 6 thousand enterprises that produce construction materials. One of them is the joint Uzbek-British enterprise Bektemir metall konstruksiyalari.

«Our plant is the first in Uzbekistan equipped with equipment and technologies for submerged hot-dip galvanizing of metals,» says production director Sanjar Nosimov. - The shops installed modern equipment from Germany, Italy, the Republic of Korea and China. To date, production capacity allows the production of 65 thousand tons of products per year, including 10 thousand tons of road barriers of barrier type and 10 thousand tons of metal supports. The next stage of our work is to obtain international certificates required for export activities.

Compared with last year's exhibition, the number of participants in the construction, finishing, facade, materials and ceramics sections increased. Among the range of products presented here, new building materials have also appeared. Its insulating materials are demonstrated by the Uzbek-Chinese enterprise Ecover.

«Modern technologies allow making warming building materials absolutely hypoallergenic, which has a beneficial effect on people's health,» says Bobur Rakhimov, export manager of the joint venture. - Our insulation materials are manufactured on the basis of the latest technology, so they keep the heat well, do not rot and do not deform under the influence of humidity or temperature, prevent the growth of fungi. Thanks to the privileges and preferences granted by the state, this year alone we produced about 6 thousand tons of insulation materials, a significant part of which was exported to Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. Now we plan to master the markets of Azerbaijan and Afghanistan.

The past exhibitions contributed to the expansion of cooperation of domestic manufacturers with foreign partners, allowed them to exchange experiences and ideas, get acquainted with the latest technologies and developments in the field of energy and construction.
