De­ci­sive Tour­na­ment

The cap­i­tal Tashkent has hosted a rat­ing win­ning tour­na­ment on chess. In a com­pe­ti­tion con­sist­ing of nine rounds, over a hun­dred chess play­ers vied for the vic­tory.

Bakhtiyor Ju­mayev earned the first po­si­tion, hav­ing won in seven of nine par­ties, and in two fixed draws. Mus­lim­bek Ab­du­rakhi­mov, who scored 8 points out of nine pos­si­ble, took sec­ond place in ad­di­tional in­di­ca­tors, Hoshim Er­ga­shev with 7.5 points in third place.

In the women’s com­pe­ti­tions Ju­lia He­gai, who scored 6.5 points, took first place, Hilola Ab­duka­ri­mova and Rano Ab­dukho­likova, who recorded 6 points in their as­sets, took the sec­ond and third ranks, re­spec­tively.

Among the vet­er­ans, the best re­sult was shown by Mo­hir Kashayev, Sa­man­dar Sher­mukhame­dov was the best among chess play­ers up to the age of 18, Alisher Um­r­zokov, Ulug­bek Sultonov, Bahrom Bakhrul­layev, Umarkhon Fakhrid­dinkhu­jaev, Javo­hir Gu­lo­mov, Davlat Makhmud­jonov and Bobur Bobokhu­jaev showed the best re­sults among young chess play­ers un­der 7 and 13.
