Problems Solved on the Ground
Appeals to the Virtual Reception of the President of our country and the People's Receptions are solved in short time.
The Republican working group consisting of senior officials of the Office of the President of Uzbekistan for the protection of the rights of citizens, control and coordination of work with appeals from individuals and legal entities, the Accounting Chamber, the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of ministries and departments examined the situation in Karakalpakstan in preparation for the winter season, and provision for thermal energy, natural and liquefied gas, coal, drinking water. The identified shortcomings and problems are solved on the ground.
Members of the working group visited remote villages of Muynak and Takhtakupyr districts of the northern region, got acquainted with the activities of private homeowners' associations in Nukus.
Now more than 2,500 appeals from the residents of Karakalpakstan have been received to the virtual reception of the President and the People's Reception. Among them, 1.6 thousand are completely satisfied, the rest are being studied, and 32 of them are solved directly on the ground. In particular, several houses are connected to the water supply network, water pipes in the Takhtakupyr and Chimbay districts have been repaired. For residents of remote villages there has been organized constant delivery of drinking water by special machines.
In order to continuously supply the population and wholesale consumers with natural gas, repairs of 14 km of gas pipelines, reconstruction and verification of more than 5 thousand gas distribution devices are planned to be repaired in the autumnwinter period 2017-2018 based on the program developed by Shimolgaztaminot. Now this work is consistently performed.
More than 102 thousand houses in the territories that do not have centralized gas supply are provided with liquefied gas. Gas cylinders are used for these purposes. This year the volume of liquefied gas allocated to the population is about 12.5 thousand tons, more than 10.2 thousand tons have already been delivered.
Members of the working group visited the shepherds in remote areas. More than 400 families received gas cylinders and gas stoves, the necessary food. The meeting with the shepherds of the shirkat farm located on the territory of the citizens of the Kuibok aul of the Karauzyak district was held in the form of an open dialogue.
