A Gift to the Con­sti­tu­tion Day

A fort­night to the 25th an­niver­sary of the adop­tion of the Con­sti­tu­tion of the Repub­lic of Uzbek­istan, a new school has been put into op­er­a­tion in the Yangi Hayot quar­ter in Gulis­tan.

It is de­signed for 316 seats, when it was erected, con­struc­tion and in­stal­la­tion work was per­formed for 3.2 bil­lion soums.

Classes and lab­o­ra­to­ries of the ed­u­ca­tional in­sti­tu­tion are equipped with mod­ern ed­u­ca­tional equip­ment, ac­ces­sories. At the dis­posal of stu­dents there is a li­brary, an assem­bly hall for 120 seats, a mod­ern gym­na­sium.

“Thanks to the re­forms in the ed­u­ca­tional sys­tem, our chil­dren are trained in mod­ern in­sti­tu­tions with all the con­di­tions,” says Ak­mal Otaboev, di­rec­tor of the sec­ondary school No 17. “Un­til that time, the pupils had at­tended a school two kilo­me­ters away. The new build­ing of the school, which was com­mis­sioned on the eve of the 25th an­niver­sary of the Con­sti­tu­tion of our coun­try, has be­come a wor­thy gift for stu­dents and par­ents.”
