Uzbek Envoy to Germany Starts Mission
In Berlin, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, Nabijon Kasimov, presented his credentials to the Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier earlier this week.
During the conversation that followed the ceremony, issues of bilateral relations were discussed. The Federal President noted that the Federal Republic of Germany views Uzbekistan as an important partner in Central Asia and is interested in further strengthening cooperation on a wide range of issues. The positive nature of friendly relations between the two countries was noted, and the presence of great potential for building mutually beneficial cooperation was emphasized.
