Qual­ity Prod­ucts to Be Ex­ported

In the Na­tional Press Cen­ter, Uzq uri li sh ma­te­rial lari Joint Stock Com­pany has dis­cussed is­sues of in­creas­ing the ef­fec­tive­ness of mea­sures aimed at ex­pand­ing pro­duc­tion of build­ing ma­te­ri­als from lo­cal raw ma­te­ri­als at a press con­fer­ence.

The coun­try pro­duces all types of build­ing ma­te­ri­als. Among them are ce­ment, build­ing glass, ce­ramic tiles, dry mixes, slate, gyp­sum, wall ma­te­ri­als and much more. In ad­di­tion, this year, un­der the lo­cal­iza­tion pro­gram, 10 projects were im­ple­mented for 63.7 bil­lion soums.

«The fo­cus of our con­stant at­ten­tion is the ex­pan­sion of the range of im­port sub­sti­tut­ing and ex­port-ori­ented prod­ucts through the in­tro­duc­tion of en­er­gy­ef­fi­cient and ef­ficient tech­nolo­gies,» said Sher­zod Hush­nazarov, chief en­gi­neer of the Ohangaron­shifer en­ter­prise. “Chop­ping rocks, made a red slate. Cur­rently, thou­sands of pieces of such prod­ucts are tested for re­sis­tance to sun and cold. From the An­gren sand we make semi-fin­ished clay and sup­ply pot­ters. It is used for the re­pair and restora­tion of his­tor­i­cal mon­u­ments.”

The ce­ment in­dus­try is also be­ing mod­ern­ized. Cur­rently, 14 ce­ment plants op­er­ate in our coun­try. Joint Stock Com­pany Kizilkum­ce­ment is one of the lead­ing en­ter­prises of the in­dus­try. About 3.5 mil­lion tons of ce­ment is pro­duced an­nu­ally. In ad­di­tion, Ohangaron­ce­ment, Ku­va­soyce­ment and Beko­bod­ce­ment pro­duce about 4 mil­lion tons of goods.

«We launched pro­duc­tion of such a new type as port­land ce­ment,» says Zaynid­din Kur­bonov, head of qual­ity de­part­ment at Kizilkum­ce­ment. “Round kilns have been mod­ern­ized, and the qual­ity of prod­ucts has been im­prov­ing. In the process of lo­cal­iza­tion, dry con­struc­tion mix­tures, slabs, re­in­forced con­crete struc­tures and trays be­gan to be pro­duced.”

«Be­fore, quartz sand was bought from abroad,» said Said­jon Ganiev, chief tech­nol­o­gist of Quartz JSC. “Within the pro­ject of lo­cal­iza­tion, start­ing from 2016, this raw ma­te­rial is brought from Navoi re­gion. Start­ing this year, the pro­ject on the pro­duc­tion of im­port sub­sti­tut­ing glass of var­i­ous thick­ness es for the au­to­mo­tive and con­struc­tion in­dus­tries was launched. A new line, ca­pa­ble of pro­duc­ing 400 tons of glass per day, will start op­er­at­ing at full ca­pac­ity from next year.”

At the press con­fer­ence par­tic­i­pants were in­formed that this year the num­ber of ex­port­ing en­ter­prises in­creased from 42 to 50, the as­sort­ment of ex­port prod­ucts - from 40 to 45, mea­sures are be­ing taken to es­tab­lish dealer net­works and trad­ing houses in a num­ber of for­eign coun­tries.
