To Afford Worthwhile Enlightenment
Shortcomings in higher and secondary special educational institutions have been analyzed objectively, profoundly and thoroughly.
The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a videoconference meeting on “Actual issues of increasing the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work on the prevention of corruption, the violations and the fight against crimes in higher educational institutions.”
On November 15, a videoconference on issues of prevention of crime and the fight against crime in the country was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The conference discussed issues of crime prevention among youth, strengthening of cooperation between educational institutions and internal affairs bodies as well as actual tasks in this direction were planned.
A large-scale work to strengthen prevention of violations among students of the system of higher and secondary special education is carried out by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the republic. In accordance with anti-corruption program, events, talks, competitions, seminars-trainings are organized. At the initiative of the head of our state, every Thursday of the week is determined as the Day of Prevention of Offenses that promotes timely prevention of fulfillment by young people of illconsidered actions and errors.
It was noted that pedagogical collectives, the mahalla actives, the families has been assigned the responsibilities to form worthy assessments on peaceful and quiet life in the country in the minds of students and schoolchildren, to strengthen their sense of respect for elders and caring for the younger ones.
Specific tasks for improving the quality and effectiveness of spiritual and educational activities, strengthening the work of subject, artistic, professional circles for the correct and rational organization among youth in leisure time, improving spiritual and educational activities in student homes, strengthening the interaction of educational institutions and law enforcement agencies have been determined.
