Continuing Folk Traditions
In the Laylak Kundi exhibition hall of culture and art in the capital an Art Deco exhibition-fair, timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the International Day of Disabled Persons hold.
Representatives of the general public, art workers, artisans, teachers and students of the specialized preschool educational institution No. 560 of the capital, their parents, journalists were invited to the opening ceremony of the exhibition organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic.
The People's Master of the Republic of Uzbekistan M. Mamajonov, the head of the specialized pre-school educational institution № 560 D. Sultonova and others stressed that due to the wide opportunities created in our country for artisans, traditions continue and customs of our people are preserved. This immortal heritage acquaints not only the broad strata of the population, the youth of our country, but also representatives of foreign states.
- At today's exhibition you can see paintings, sculptures, elements of landscape design, as well as objects of applied art, «says young sculptor Azamat Koraboyev. - I also presented my sculptures.
The exposition presents the works of such potters, craftsmen and painters as A.Gafurov, D.Yuryev, N.Domantsevich, M.Habibov, A.Kasparov, R.Kodirov, A.Koraboyev, A.Umrzokov, D.Nazarov.
At the event, the pupils of the specialized preschool educational institution No. 560 received presents from the organizers.
