The cap­i­tal of Thai­land has hosted the cer­e­mony of de­ter­min­ing the best foot­ball play­ers of Asia AFC AN­NUAL AWARDS 2017.

For the cur­rent year, Syr­ian Umar Harbin was rec­og­nized as the best player of the con­ti­nent. The best fe­male soc­cer player of Asia is named the Aus­tralian Sa­man­tha Kerr. And the “Best Young Foot­baller” nom­i­na­tion went to Lee Seng Wu from South Korea.

Also, a spe­cial AFC prize for ref­er­ees will be re­ceived by FIFA ref from Uzbek­istan, the ar­biter of beach foot­ball Bakhtiyor Namo­zov.

From April 25 to May 7 this year, Namo­zov took part in the World Beach Soc­cer Cham­pi­onship in the Ba­hamas, where he ref­er­eed the fi­nal match be­tween the na­tional teams of Brazil and Tahiti.

Worth not­ing that un­til that day, the his­tory of beach foot­ball had seen no ref­eree from Asia in the fi­nals of the World Cup. The first was Bakhtiyor Namo­zov, the press ser­vice of Uzbek­istan Foot­ball Fed­er­a­tion re­ported.
