The Paralympic team of Uzbekistan have won 28 medals in the 3rd Asian parades, held in Dubai, UAE.
In total, about 800 Paralympic athletes from 30 Asian countries participated in the tournament in eight sports, including 17 representatives of Uzbekistan, who took the fourth place in the team event with 20 gold, six silver and two bronze medals.
Swimmers of Uzbekistan in category S-13 (visually impaired) won six medals. Akbar Yangiboev in the swim at 100 m on the back became the owner of gold, and on 100 m freestyle - silver». Muhammad Abduraimov won gold medals at a distance of 100 m butterfly and freestyle. Fotima Amilova freestyle at the distance of 100 and 200 m was also awarded the highest awards.
Shahzoda Mamadalieva in the weight category of 45 kg rose to the highest step of the podium. Nuriddin Mengziyayev (107 kg) won the silver award, Muhammadhon Khuzhakhonov (88 kg) and Abboskhon Rakhimjonov (59 kg) - bronze.

Bobirzhon Omonov (shot put 4 kg), Muhammad Rikhsimov (shot put 6 kg, throwing disk), Yorkinbek Odilov (throwing a disc, javelin throwing, shot put), Sabina Sukhanova (running 100 and 200 meters), Asida Mirzayorova (100 and 200 meters long jumps), Damir Pashayev (100 and 800 meters), Rosiyahon Ergasheva (javelin throw) became champions of the pair.
