Detailed Plans, Successful Implementation
On the territory of a small industrial zone in the Muinak district of Karakalpakstan, a workshop for production of polypropylene bags has been opened. At the enterprise, organized under the limited liability company Kara Oi Moynak Babur, 25 new jobs were created.
“This project worth 3.2 billion soums is designed to produce 6 million bags a year. To purchase equipment for the production of polypropylene bags in China, in addition to the own funds of project implementers, the soft loan granted by the bank was used. Now at the enterprise mainly graduates of professional colleges work,” the workshop owner Abdulhafiz Ismatullayev said.
“I’ve been looking for a suitable job for a long time,” says Omongul Jumamuradova, a worker at the enterprise. “The opening of a new venture in our district helped me, along with other unemployed people, to find work.”
In the near future, another new production will emerge on the territory of the enterprise, where the production of textile products will begin.
In general, large-scale work is carried out in the district on the basis of the presidential decree “On Additional Measures for Economic Development and Employment Provision for the Population of Muinak District of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in 2017-2018”.
In accordance with this document, 72 projects are envisaged on the organization of production of textile, finished knitted goods, equipment for drip irrigation, water pumps, plastic pipes, electrical and pharmaceutical products, development of fish farming and fish production, expansion of production for pharmaceuticals, resource base, tourism development.
