Mod­ern Tech­nol­ogy at a Dis­count

In the city of Nu­raf­shon, an ex­hi­bi­tion of agri­cul­tural ma­chin­ery has been or­ga­nized for farm­ers of the Tashkent re­gion.

At the ex­hi­bi­tion pre­pared by Uza­grotekhsanoathold­ing JSC to­gether with the re­gional hokimiyat, more than 50 units of mod­ern agri­cul­tural ma­chin­ery of 27 types pro­duced by the Tashkent Agri­cul­tural Ma­chin­ery Plant, joint ven­tures Amkodor-Agrotekhmash, UzClaasagro, UzCase­mash, as well as lim­ited li­a­bil­ity com­pa­nies “Tech­nol­o­gist”, “Ag­gre­gate”, “Chirchik­masha­gro”.

“Strength­en­ing the ma­te­rial and tech­ni­cal base of the sphere, in par­tic­u­lar, pro­vid­ing farms and MTOs with mod­ern ma­chin­ery and equip­ment, is im­por­tant in ob­tain­ing a rich yield of crops,” said Hasan Na­si­bov, deputy head of depart­ment at the Uza­grotekhsanoathold­ing.

“On March 14 this year, a meet­ing on the de­vel­op­ment of agri­cul­tural ma­chineb­uild­ing, held un­der the chair­man­ship of the Pres­i­dent of our coun­try, iden­ti­fied a num­ber of pri­or­ity tasks in this di­rec­tion. Thus, start­ing from next year, the pro­duc­tion of Zamin trac­tors with a ca­pac­ity of 110 horse­power will be lo­cal­ized. Ow­ing to the lo­cal­iza­tion of pro­duc­tion of agri­cul­tural ma­chin­ery, fin­ished prod­ucts will be sold with a 5% dis­count.”

In ac­cor­dance with the res­o­lu­tion of the Pres­i­dent of Uzbek­istan on mea­sures to or­ga­nize the ac­tiv­i­ties of the joint-stock com­pany Uza­grotekhsanoathold­ing, the sys­tem of agri­cul­tural ma­chin­ery has un­der­gone com­plete re­or­ga­ni­za­tion. In order to im­prove the tech­ni­cal base of the in­dus­try, new joint­stock com­pa­nies were estab­lished to man­u­fac­ture agri­cul­tural ma­chin­ery, sup­ply it on the ba­sis of leas­ing re­la­tions and pro­vide ser­vices and mech­a­niza­tion.

Along with Jiz­zakh, Syrdarya and Na­man­gan re­gions, for farm­ers of the Tashkent re­gion the leas­ing terms have been ex­tended like­wise from 10 to 12 years and from 7 to 10 years for ma­chine and trac­tor or­ga­ni­za­tions (MTOs). Farm­ers and MTOs were al­lo­cated 5-per­cent pref­er­en­tial loans for the pur­chase of agri­cul­tural ma­chin­ery.
