In accordance with the outlined arrangement, it is envisaged to provide individual consumers and state organizations of the region with coal in the volume 201.6 thousand tons, in particular, 120.3 thousand tons with briquettes, 81.3 thousand tons with coal.

“There will be no problems with the supply of coal in the region,” says M. Hamroev, head of coal warehouses in the Namangan region under the Kokand Integrated Fuel and Storage Enterprise of the Temiryulyonilghitamin department at Uzbekistan Railways JSC. “Of course, due to large volumes of production or unforeseen situations associated with the transportation of fuel, there may be a two-three-day delay. But despite this, the population of the region, social facilities and sectors of the economy will be fully provided with coal in winter.”

In the current autumn-winter season, the need for social services in coal will be 67.5 thousand tons. According to preliminary calculations, it is envisaged to supply 19.8 thousand tons of coal and 47.7 thousand tons of briquettes to this area. Control over collateral is carried out in accordance with the developed schedule. To date, 19.8 thousand tons of coal and 30.5 thousand tons of briquettes have already been supplied to the social sector, 50.3 thousand tons of coal in general, which is the result of active efforts to eliminate the shortcomings encountered during the summer period.

To create amenities for the population, to reduce transportation costs in the Pap, Chust, Turakurgan, Namangan, Chartak, Uychi, Uchkurgan, Naryn districts, 8 coal warehouses were built. At present, 2.4 thousand tons of coal and 1.8 thousand tons of briquettes are stored there. In order to prevent theft and other illegal actions, coal is sold to the population with the participation of chairpersons of the citizens’ assemblies of mahallas. Owing to this practice, the activity of dealers who used to sell coal at double price has been eliminated.
