guyeãn Thò Hoa won't forget the day her family received access to electricity for the first time in her life. Five years ago, in 2008, the young girl from the mountainous commune of Yeân Trung, Thaïch Thaát District (Haø Taây Province) shouted for joy when her thatched cottage was illuminated by fluorescent light for the first time.
In addition to electricity, several new roads were also built in her locality, so now she can go to school more easily.
