Leaders pay tribute to departed war heroes
Vieät Nam's top leaders laid a wreath and offered incense at the Monument to War Martyrs in Haø Noäi to mark the 67th anniversary of Vieät Nam's War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27). The delegation included General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vieät Nam Nguyeãn Phuù Troïng, President Tröông Taán Sang, Prime Minister Nguyeãn Taán Duõng, National Assembly Chairman Nguyeãn Sinh Huøng, and Chairman of the Vieät Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyeãn Thieän Nhaân. They later paid a floral tribute to President Hoà Chí Minh at his mausoleum. A solemn requiem was held in the northern mountainous province of Sôn La to commemorate the heroic soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation. The event was part of the nationwide activities to mark the anniversary.
