VN, UAE, Qatar to boost ties
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyeãn Xuaân Phuùc held talks with his United Arab Emirates (UAE) counterpart Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday during which both sides agreed to beef up their bilateral partnership in all fields, especially trade, investment, finance and banking and labour co-operation.
Phuùc said Vieät Nam would create favourable conditions for UAE investors to explore business and investment opportunities in the country.
Vieät Nam and the UAE saw remarkable progress in their bilateral partnership over the past two decades, especially in politics, diplomacy, economics and culture, Phuùc said at a gala dinner in Abu Dhabi.
Earlier, addressing the Vieät Nam-Qatar economic co-operation forum in Doha, Qatar Minister of Economy and Trade Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani said the emirate was committed to raising two-way trade with Vieät Nam to US$1 billion in the near future.
