Agri­cul­tural im­ports top $3b

Vieät Nam im­ported agri­cul­tural prod­ucts worth US$3 bil­lion in the first seven months of the year, ac­cord­ing to the Min­istry of Agri­cul­ture and Ru­ral Devel­op­ment.

Cat­tle feed im­ports cost $1.95 bil­lion, a 10.7 per cent rise year-on-year.

Corn im­ports saw the strong­est rise, as 2.62 mil­lion tonnes were bought for $681 mil­lion, re­spec­tively an in­crease of 2.4 and 1.9 times.
