CPV delegation on working visit to Japan
TOKYO — A delegation of the Communist Party of Vieät Nam (CPV) led by Phan Ñình Traïc, Secretary of the CPV Central Committee, is on a working visit to Japan from September 24 to 30.
Traïc had meetings with Masahiko Komura, Vice President of the Liberal Democratic Party, Head of the Secretariat of the Japanese Communist Party Akira Koike, justice minister Yoko Kamikawa, and foreign affairs minister Kazuyuki Nakane.
Highlighting the 45th anniversary of Vieät Nam-Japan diplomatic ties, they expressed their wish to boost collaboration with Vieät Nam and the CPV, saying that exchanges through the party channel created a foundation for political trust, hence fostering the development of economic cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, and linkages in other sectors. — VNS
