Police arrest agitators

POLICE in Lusaka have arrested civil society activist Laura Miti, PeP president Sean Tembo, Chama Fumba popularly known as Pilato and others for protesting at Parliament over fire trucks.

Police spokesperson Esther Katongo said Lewis Mwape aged 44 of Barlastone Villa who is Executive Director for Zambia Council for Social Development and Bonwell Mwewa, aged 43 of PHI in Lusaka have also been arrested.

Ms Katongo said all those arrested were in police custody and would be charged.
