The development has infuriated lecturers who are demanding that he should leave for his new position to forestall divisions at the institution. When contacted for a comment, Mr Mutobo dismissed the allegations and referred all queries to the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education. Mr Mutobo however added that most of the lecturers liked him and that he was not resisting the transfer. He said he was merely following *overnPent Sosition that officers should first serve for five \ears before they could be transferred. But irate lecturers, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the Daily Nation that Mr Mutobo should graciously leave KCE because there institution had been dogged by divisions and other problems. “He has created a cartel of his henchmen. He has created some divisions at this institution. So we don·t Zant hiP. +e should leave us. “Why is he resisting the transfer? When he was being transferred from Solwezi to Kasama and from Kasama to Kitwe, he was not resisting. Why is he resisting now that he has been transferred to Lusaka? One lecturer said. Other lecturers said Mr Mutobo had failed to run the institution as evidenced by the dirty because there was no water. Mr Mutobo on the other hand said it was not true that the lecturers do not like him, insisting that only a few of them were against him. “It is also not true that my lecturers do not like me. They actually like me very much. May be it is just some few individuals who don·t liNe Pe ·· 0r 0utobo said.
