UNZA student back home
THE second-year University of Zambia (UNZA) student who was evacuated to South Africa for specialist medical treatment following a riot at the institution last month has returned home and transferred to a local hospital. Zambia's High Commissioner to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba confirmed the development in a statement yesterday. Mr Mwamba stated that Everett Chongo was back in Zambia after undergoing various operations on her legs which included a spine operation. Mr Mwamba said Ms Chongo would remain in hospital and would recuperate from Zambia.
