Toll rev­enues to hit USD$85m in 2018.

Gov­ern­ment road toll rev­enue has more than dou­bled in three years from full year 2014 col­lec­tions of K297mil­lion (about US$30il­lion) to 2017 col­lec­tions that amounted to K668mil­lion (US$67mil­lion), with the tar­get toll rev­enue col­lec­tion for 2018 pro­jected to K845mil­lion (US$85mil­lion).

The Na­tional Road Fund Agency -NRFA has col­lected a to­tal of K2.3bil­lion from toll sta­tions from the time the na­tional road tolling pro­gramme started in 2013.

Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease yes­ter­day, Min­is­ter of Hous­ing and In­fras­truc­ture De­vel­op­ment Ron­ald Chi­totela said that the fees have been col­lected from tolls in­land, ports of en­try and weigh­bridge sta­tions across the coun­try...
