Timely assurance by the Zimbabwe Defence Forces

Chronicle (Zimbabwe) - - National News -

EDITOR — We appreciate the message from our patriotic Defence Forces. A lot of naive elements hell bent on regime change have been foolishly hallucinating that the Government is now weak just because activists have been jumping and politically vomiting around.

Those dreaming of a change of government should wait for 2018, to try their luck, instead of thinking they can dream and reap the rewards of their dreams the next morning against a legitimately elected Government.

The Constitution does not allow people to be violent against the police. Increasing violence will mean soldiers will be on prone position ready to deal with lawlessness accordingly and constitutionally. Only those who fear losing in 2018 will foolishly try using violence.

Unfortunately they cannot succeed in their regime change endeavours. Its amiss for opposition parties who are known to support sanctions that have caused our economic problems, to support violent demonstration against our Government.

Jobless people should daily demonstrate at Harvest House against MDC-T leaders who support sanctions. Cde Mzvinavanhu.
