Md­hara Vachauya goes to Gweru

FRESH from his sev­enth al­bum launch, con­tem­po­rary mu­si­cian Jah Prayzah heads to Gweru to­mor­row for a show at the Mid­lands ho­tel.

The artiste, who passed through the city when he was trav­el­ling to Bu­l­awayo for his al­bum launch last week­end, will un­veil his new of­fer­ing at a show which has been dubbed: “Col­lege wel­come back”.

While un­leash­ing his new 11-track Md­hara Vachauya al­bum, Jah Prayzah will share the Gweru stage with dance­hall chanter Free­man.

The re­cently launched al­bum has been re­ceived well by fans with songs Wa­tora Mari ft. Tanzania’s Di­a­mond Plat­numz, Seke and Mdara Vachauya the most pop­u­lar.

Show or­gan­iser Bless­ing Nyan­hete (DJ Blesh) said: “We want to en­cour­age peo­ple to sup­port lo­cal mu­sic and so, Jah Prayzah’s new al­bum will be sold for a $1 at the venue.”

“This show is a good op­por­tu­nity for Jah Prayzah’s fans in the Mid­lands to watch him live in ac­tion with his Third Gen­er­a­tion band.”
