Chronicle (Zimbabwe) - - Sport - Tobias Mandoreba in Hwange

TITLE chasing Ingagula FC fired warning shots to their rivals about their Zifa Matabeleland North Division Two League intent by dismantling Blackrock 7-0 at the weekend.

Ingagula were on fire from the first whistle and overran an out of sorts Blackrock through four goal hero Wayne Shumba, a brace by Garayipasi Chiwara and another brace by Rashid Chipande.

The big win kept pressure on army outfit Moto Moto, who maintained their one-point lead at the top of the league table without shedding any sweat, thanks to a walkover over Corinthians, who had challenges travelling to the coal mining town.

A vastly improved Mosi Rovers leapfrogged Baobab Rovers into third place on superior goal difference after edging Baobab 1-0 through a Munyaradzi Muchenje goal.

On Sunday, the Never Munkuli coached Hwange Under-17 continued with their resurgence by edging Amagagasi Under-19 1-0 through a Wellington Ngwenya stike.

At Prison Ground, Tenex disappointed their home fans by stumbling to a 0-1 loss to visiting Trumus Warriors. Brilliant Siyanzoka secured the win for Trumus.

Lukhosi Pirates also produced a flat performance at their once feared Lukhosi Ground by succumbing to a 0-3 battering at the hands of Classic Luyando.

A brace by Craig Dinha and Moffat Ncube’s goal left Pirates shell shocked. — @tobymandox.
