“BIG” thieves are very lucky, instead of being sent to prison they are suspended. The word corrupt should be erased from our society and be replaced by theft or steal. Matson Hlalo was called all names when he challenged the appointment of Banda to a certain post. He has shown that he reaps where he did not sow. In fact, that is organised stealing. Arrest them. Where is the law? Is it for small fish only? — ES. HONOURABLE Saviour Kasukuwere please go back to BCC and carry out further investigations. These corrupt councillors have been awarding themselves tenders to run BCC shops, toilets, car parks and there is Expriccos taxi cabs, the only taxi cabs in Bulawayo given a rank to do stage carriage like kombis charging 50c per head instead of waiting for hires like all other taxi cabs. Their rank is right in front of Gift Banda’s private office and BCC Traffic Enforcement is under strict instructions not to harass Expriccos because some corrupt councillors own taxi cabs under the Expriccos brand. Expriccos boasts that they are highly connected at BCC and they are untouchable and above BCC by-laws. As a result Expriccos has killed business for other taxi cabs. By charging kombi fares it has also pushed out kombis from Nust, Sunninghill, UBH routes. Please, return Honourable Minister. — Anti-Corruption, Nust, Bulawayo Nkosi

ALTHOUGH ZBC/TV disappoints me in terms of soccer coverage, they are doing a good job in showing us what is happening in some rural areas. Do all these places where people are suffering have councillors and MPs? How can a school stay the whole term with one teacher? Part time teachers are needed whether we like it or not. What is the future of children who do not go to school? — E.S
