HOW does the law work? Please help. Those who steal millions of dollars are not arrested but suspended from work. A woman who fights with her husband and breaks his spectacles is remanded in custody. The man broke hers also. Can we call this woman a criminal who doesn’t need comfort. Why remand her in custody? A person of fixed abode, for a minor crime? That is why prisons are overcrowded. Shame! — ES.

IF you ask anyone who loves soccer and has been following the Madamara FC story, he/she will tell you that Madamara was treated unfairly by Bafa’s anti-football officials. Those guys behave as if they own Bafa teams. Bafa, clean up yourselves before you clean Madamara. — Soccer Lover, Bulawayo

I AM a concerned villager living about 30km from Bulawayo along Solusi Road. There is hunger and water shortage and no Government assistance is reaching us at Ezihwabeni. The media and even Government officials never visit this place. — Hungry Villager, Peter Banda

THE rainy season has come. Drivers take care on our roads. Be late rather than be the late. — Batino J Johns.

MINISTER Sithembiso Nyoni hear my cry. I have a vibrant tyre mending small enterprise that is in great need of your assistance in formalising and mobilising more entrepreneurs. With reference to The Chronicle of October 4, 2016, I am appealing for first preference in the nomination of the 20 SMEs for incubation in Matabelaland South province. — Nqobile Tshuma, Filabusi

I JUST want to make a comment on Tapuwa Kapini. I think he was not wrong because I have been following Peter Muduhwa, that young man deserves a national team call. Only God know. — Reader

It is a good thing that Government has mobilised $503 million for inputs. This is the first step in ensuring that we have a bumper harvest in 2017. It is important for the farmers to get organised. Farmers must also not sell the inputs for a quick dollar. We all need to work together to ensure that the nation is fed. — Shingi Moyo, Bindura
