Sulu,Stun­ner head­line Nust grad­u­a­tion party

SULUMANI Chim­betu and Stun­ner are set for a show­down at the Nust grad­u­a­tion party on Fri­day.

The send-off party tak­ing place at the univer­sity’s sports ground will also fea­ture per­for­mances by God­fa­ther Tem­ple­man, Garry B, UK-based King Al­fred, Fire­man, Sasco T, DJ Lizzy, Kheta Cre­ative Arts and New Gen­er­a­tion Sound.

Show or­gan­is­ers, Wer­ras En­ter­tain­ment and Nust En­ter­tain­ment said the cel­e­bra­tion was meant for the more than 2 000 stu­dents graduating on Fri­day.

“For the first time, we want to have a great party with the grad­u­ates and judg­ing from the star stud­ded line-up, one can tell we mean busi­ness. Stu­dents from other col­leges who wish to at­tend the party will be given dis­counts on con­di­tion they bring their stu­dent iden­ti­fi­ca­tion cards,” said Samuel “Boss­werra” Saung­wene, one of the or­gan­is­ers. They’ll be ex­pected to pay $3 un­like the rest of the crowd who’ll pay $5.”

Sulu’s spokesper­son Joe Lo­cal Nya­mungoma said his artiste was up­beat about per­form­ing in Bu­l­awayo after their ini­tial show set for Pri­vate Lounge a few months back was can­celled.

“We’re ex­cited to get an­other chance to per­form in Bu­l­awayo. The City of Kings is like a sec­ond home to us, and we’re more than pre­pared for the show,” said Nya­mungoma.

“This show is more of com­pen­sa­tion to our fans after our last show was can­celled at the last minute. We’re go­ing to be sam­pling new tracks from the forth­com­ing al­bum which we be­lieve has all it takes to be a game changer in the mu­sic in­dus­try. Fans should pre­pare for a mas­sive al­bum.”
