We need to trust Warriors coach Pasuwa

Chronicle (Zimbabwe) - - National News -

EDITOR — This issue of inviting foreign-based players into the Warriors squad needs to be handled carefully as there are a lot of factors at play.

Unlike Zimbabwe, the Algerians who have been adding more foreign players to their team changed coaches and a change in coaching personnel always necessitates a few tactical and player changes.

Pasuwa has his own trusted guys who took him to Afcon and it is better if he sticks to them.

Things are not happening in Europe for both Darikwa and Khazri. Therefore there is no need for Pasuwa to call him up.

We are not facing a crisis going to the Afcon finals because all the teams that we played during Afcon qualifiers had very good strikers. We conceded four goals in six matches and scored 11.

We already have too many quality players in both midfield and strikers, and several defenders who had gotten used to playing with each other over time.

What special qualities do Darikwa and Bonne possess that other players do not have?

Coach Pasuwa is in big trouble at the moment because he has just too many players to choose from while he only needs 25. Let us not add pressure on him. We just have to believe that the current players and coach will deliver the goods. We want to see what those who want to play for Zimbabwe at any cost can do.
