Tough task awaits Mighty Warriors captain

Chronicle (Zimbabwe) - - National News -

EDITOR — Captaining a national team is never an easy task, it comes with a great responsibility requiring trust, dedication and mutual respect.

We all love Peter Ndlovu for all he did in our national colors which saw him setting records while sacrificing personal gains for the love of his country.

As Talent Mandaza takes over the armband from Felistas Muzongondi, she must be warned that leading the Mighty Warriors is no easy task.

Especially as the girls are slowly proving beyond doubt that they are a special group which has the potential to take women’s football to another level.

The nation’s dreams, the nation’s long-term and short-term goals all rest on her shoulders.

We simply wish Mandaza an unforgettable tenure, a successful spell as the captain of the side and hopefully she is going to receive all the support she needs for her to fully captain the side to her maximum ability.

At the end of her tenure we hope she is going to be rated among the finest captains our Mighty Warriors have ever had.

And hopefully she is going to be rated in the same class as Peter Ndlovu. Felix Zonke, Harare
