Bu­l­awayo busi­ness­man dies

BU­L­AWAYO busi­ness­man Mr Ge­orge pop­u­larly known as Bra Gee, has died. He was 66. Mr Ncube, who owned Sound Vi­sion Elec­tron­ics in the city cen­tre, col­lapsed at his home in Sel­borne Park on Sun­day.

He was taken to United Bu­l­awayo Hospi­tals (UBH) where he died.

His brother, Dr Bekithemba Ncube, said his brother’s death was a great loss to the fam­ily.

“My brother was a prin­ci­pled, hard work­ing busi­ness­man and also a fam­ily man. He went into the elec­tri­cals busi­ness in 1980. He opened Sound Vi­sion in Bu­l­awayo in 2000. Sound Vi­sion deals with in­stal­la­tion of satel­lite dishes, Hi-fis and mo­bile phone sales among oth­ers. Apart from the main store, he had con­tracts with a num­ber of com­pa­nies. They would call him when­ever they wanted to in­stall elec­tri­cal gad­gets,” said Dr Ncube.

“Bra Gee is the one who in­stalled the en­tire satel­lite sys­tem at Joshua Mqabuko Air­port. He also in­stalled satel­lite dishes and tele­vi­sions in a num­ber of banks in Mata­bele­land.” Ncube,

Mr Ncube is sur­vived by his wife Khethiwe and seven chil­dren.
