Bulawayo businessman dies
BULAWAYO businessman Mr George popularly known as Bra Gee, has died. He was 66. Mr Ncube, who owned Sound Vision Electronics in the city centre, collapsed at his home in Selborne Park on Sunday.
He was taken to United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH) where he died.
His brother, Dr Bekithemba Ncube, said his brother’s death was a great loss to the family.
“My brother was a principled, hard working businessman and also a family man. He went into the electricals business in 1980. He opened Sound Vision in Bulawayo in 2000. Sound Vision deals with installation of satellite dishes, Hi-fis and mobile phone sales among others. Apart from the main store, he had contracts with a number of companies. They would call him whenever they wanted to install electrical gadgets,” said Dr Ncube.
“Bra Gee is the one who installed the entire satellite system at Joshua Mqabuko Airport. He also installed satellite dishes and televisions in a number of banks in Matabeleland.” Ncube,
Mr Ncube is survived by his wife Khethiwe and seven children.
He will be buried in the city tomorrow. — @cchikayi
