A MUTARE man appeared before Mutare magistrate Miss Nyasha Kuture at the civil courts, seeking a protection order against his ex-girlfriend who was giving him no peace after he ended their relationship.

Tanaka Kachidza told Miss Kuture that Busi Zindimu was making his life a living hell, and he just wanted her to stay away from him, and stop making his life difficult.

He complained that Busi had not accepted the fact that he no longer wanted to be in a relationship with her anymore and she would always demand that they should reconcile and mend their relationship but he no longer wanted her.

Tanaka told the court that Busi was in the habit of stalking him at his homestead, harassing him whenever they met and also insulting him.

“Your Worship, this ex-girl- friend of mine has made my life horrible and I just wish for her to stay away from my business, to stop following me around and insulting me for no reason,

“She is discontent with the fact that I broke ties with her and now she harasses me, but the truth of the matter is I no longer love her,” he said.

The respondent was not present during the court session. However, the protection order was granted for the next five years.
