President Mnangagwa is a reformist

EDITOR President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s economic turnaround strategy, which involves rationalising Government’s expenditure-revenue ratio, proves his aspiration to resolves the country’s economic challenges.

He sanctioned the removal of unqualified officers from the Government payroll, also turning down vehicle purchase requests from senior officials.

The new Government has also trimmed their fuel and mobile phone airtime allocations.

This has saved the nation unnecessary expenses that has been gobbling part of its revenue and minimising the financing of capital projects with mega socio-economic impact.

We hope the Government will also monitor public expenditure in order to save the country’s money. If the balance of payment deficit falls and production picks up, then Zimbabwe’s economy will find its feet again. James Ndemera, Arcturus.
