Pay back the money

The Sunday Mail (Zimbabwe) - - COMMENT -

EDITOR — You recently published an article that highlighted that heads were going to roll at Zesa, and now the CEO and his comrades have been arrested in connection with underhand dealings worth millions of dollars.

There is also another recent case involving GMB officials.

This national cleansing should continue and more heads must roll both in private and State enterprises.

If there is a message that is being sent out there, it is that of warning corrupt individuals. This new leadership is serious when it comes to curbing white collar crime.

There is need to turn up the heat and get rid of greedy people.

The time for selfishness should be a thing of the past as we ensure that funds are put to their proper use and tenders are awarded to deserving bidders.

This is the only way that the country can rise from the ashes.

People found guilty of corruption should not just be arrested but must also pay back the money.

Andy, Kadoma
