Dear Sirs, Ouch!!! Inflation last month panned out at 2.9 percent, or an annual rate of increase of just over 40 percent p.a.

This is too much, as Her Ladyship might have observed. Hopefully, the monthly rate should moderate, as from the second half of the year, but we shall see. Otherwise, President Macri won’t his second innings, which he dearly wants.

Meanwhile, the dreaded greenback appears to be fairly quiescent. Here’s hoping!!!
