THE Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) sent its Madani Ihsan Squad on its first critical flood relief mission to Kelantan yesterday, demonstrating the organisation’s commitment to community support during challenging times.

Led by its chairman, Dr Mohd Zuhan Mohd Zain and attended by deputy director-general Sh Arifin Sh Mohd Noor, the initiative targets Kelantan’s most severely flooded areas.

Zuhan said: “Our goal is to not just provide assistance, but to also ease the burden on flood victims during their most vulnerable period.”

Kelantan suffered the most severe flooding in the past couple of

weeks, which damaged roads, homes and cars, and displaced thousands of people.

The three-day, two-night mission will see 20 members deployed

across multiple regions, including Lubuk Jong, Rantau Panjang, Pasir Mas and Tumpat.

The squad will offer direct support

to 500 families by distributing 500 electrical fans worth RM50,000, and providing critical relief to affected communities.
