In sixth form, Milly achieved success in national competitions, including a drama performance monologue from Euripides’s Electra, (shortlisted by Oxford university for the David Raeburn Prize); producing and acting in a short docu-drama on Achilles, (second place in the Cambridge Classics AV Competition); and creative writing (with her work Orestes Wrath of the Erinyes broadcast in a podcast by the Classical Association).

“There were so many talented young people there,” Milly said.

“The whole evening was incredible and to have Claudia Webbe there presenting the award was simply surreal.”
