Three changes for AmaGlug-glug

THREE forced changes have been made to the South African U23 soccer team that will face Iran in an international friendly match on Monday.

Coach Shakes Mashaba announced he has replaced goalkeeper Thela Ngobeni, of Kaizer Chiefs, with Shane Lottering, of Moroka Swallows.

He also replaced defender Gladwin Shitolo, of Jomo Cosmos, and Belgium-based midfielder Daylon Claasen, of Lierse, with Lucky Baloyi, of Kaizer Chiefs, and Sibusiso Khumalo, of Mamelodi Sundowns. The team left for the match in Tehran yesterday. Mashaba said although the camp was hampered by injuries, a lot of ground had been covered.
