Journeyman Gladwin Shitolo says moving around from club to club has taken its toll on him as a player.

The Orlando Pirates player is on the move once again as the Soweto giants have loaned him to Golden Arrows for the new season.

However, he is no stranger to the Durban-based team, having played for them in 2016 under coach Clinton Larsen, whom he later joined at Chippa last season.

“Having to be loaned out to different clubs affects me because Pirates have a different game module. So, when you get to another team they play a different game module,” the 29year-old said.

“You find out when you come from Pirates and you get to another team, you have to get used to how the coach wants the team to play.

“I think that is a very difficult thing to do.”

However, Shitolo said he would knuckle down and try to impress.

“As a player, you just have to do what you have to do to reach your target, no matter what. These things happen.

“Football is football, it’s just different players and coaches.

“My goal at Arrows is to compete and win a trophy.”

The Giyani-born defender joined Pirates in 2014 from Jomo Cosmos and was loaned out the following season to Platinum Stars.

In 2016, he joined Arrows and when the season ended he went back to the Buccaneers and spent two seasons with the team.

Last season, Shitolo failed to get a chance to play an official match for Pirates under coach Milutin Sredojevic.

He was then loaned to Chippa, where he was reunited with his former coach Larsen.
