FOREST LAKE BRINGS TOGETHER UNDAS AND CHRISTMAS WITH UNDASKO 2024
Undas, the annual tradition of observing All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days, can sometimes be an awkward time for Filipinos. It seems to be a somber prelude to the most exuberant and festive season of the year.
Contrary to this view, however, Undas can be reframed as a wonderful opportunity to fulfill a time-honored custom while indulging in happy reminiscences of our beloved departed.
With this in mind, leading memorial park developer Forest Lake recently presented “Undasko”, its way of celebrating Undas and Christmas in one joyous and heartwarming event.
With Undasko (a portmanteau of “Undas” and “Pasko”), Forest Lake showed that Filipinos may celebrate the shared values of two cherished Filipino holidays, and further deepen family bonds in the process. Undasko 2024, in particular, stressed on the importance of honoring family legacies and highlighted how celebrating one’s holidays at Forest Lake offers a unique sense of community and connection.
To kick off the festivities, Forest Lake featured simultaneous Christmas tree lighting rites across all Forest Lake parks. Undasko also gave Forest Lake the perfect time to extend its “gifts of gratitude” to lot owners including exclusive promotions and discounts, complimentary services, and branded merchandise. Forest Lake likewise underscored how its unique provisions, such as its Total Memorial Care services, make it easier for families to plan for the future with peace and dignity.
In addition, Forest Lake took the opportunity to promote its Libing Anywhere interment services; the Libre Burol for families availing of interment services; and QRonicle, the digital storytelling platform for loved ones.
In celebrating Forest Lake’s first-ever Undasko, Forest Lake president and CEO Alfred Xerez-Burgos III affirmed how the best gift family members can give each other would be to create fresh new memories by indulging in quality time together.
“Undasko is our way of encouraging families to honor their loved ones while sharing in the joy of the holiday season,” said Xerez-Burgos. “It’s a unique experience that celebrates life, love, and memories.”
Xerez-Burgos likewise assured families that at Forest Lake, there is always joy and comfort in remembrances.
