Adeyemi blow for Amorim

MANCHESTER UNITED are bracing themselves for disappointment in their bid to sign Karim Adeyemi.

United have been keeping close tabs on the 23-year-old Borussia Dortmund forward (above), in the hope of luring him to Old Trafford.

Club bosses have sounded out Adeyemi’s agent, Jorge Mendes, about the chances of striking a deal next summer. But United manager Ruben Amorim is now preparing to turn his attentions elsewhere.

Dortmund have slapped a £75million price-tag on the German international, which is more than what United were willing to pay.

To make matters worse, Adeyemi has made it clear that IF he leaves Dortmund ahead of next season, his preferred destination is Arsenal.

Adeyemi is under contract until 2027, but talks with Dortmund over a new deal have stalled, and he is willing to find a new club in the summer.
