Even City can’t lure hot Omar
EINTRACHT FRANKFURT hotshot Omar Marmoush will not be trying to leave the Bundesliga club in this month’s transfer window, despite interest from Manchester City.
Liverpool and Manchester United have also closely watched the red-hot Egyptian attacker, and Arsenal are considered admirers.
But Marmoush (above), 25, is happy to stay put for now, and said: “My focus is solely Eintracht Frankfurt and being successful here, so at the end of the season we can say, as a team, ‘We’ve achieved something great’.”
Frankfurt would want a fee upwards of £50million in order to consider a sale. Nottingham Forest failed with two bids last summer, the highest being around £25m.
