For this par­tic­u­lar char­ac­ter, be­ing able to ap­ply at least some mea­sure of re­al­is­tic anatomy is es­sen­tial. The goal is for this to be a car­toon with a de­gree of re­al­ism. An ac­cent of mus­cles, bones and lig­a­ments will be just enough to make it feel like the real deal, but not too much, be­cause the next layer of de­tails you add will cover it all up any­way. There’s no need to go over­board with super-ac­cu­rate anatomy, as it is not what we are try­ing to sell here.
