Character artist Hossein Diba employed an unusual technique to create this lifelike fan art of Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck in the upcoming Joker movie.

“I sculpted everything inside Zbrush and used Dynamesh to start the sculpt,” Hossein explains of his process. “I modelled his clothes from scratch in Zbrush rather than using Marvelous Designer.”

Discussing his motivation for the image, Hossein says: “I was looking to capture the feelings he had in his eyes and facial expression, replicating his likeness as much as I could.” instagram.com/hossein.diba
